What started as a hobby between two best friends has evolved into a small business that we are hoping can one day become our full time careers. In the meantime we create our art on evenings & weekends, hence our name! We handcraft unique home decor.
Howdy, I’m Shelby! I started tie-dyeing at the age of six, when my Grandmother signed me up for a summer art camp. I fell in love with the process of hand dyeing and its many surprises. Though I’ve tried (and enjoyed!) many other crafts and mediums over the years, I always come back to hand-dyeing. Pairing that passion with my aggressive thrifting habit, affinity for up-cycling, and love of creating handmade gifts happened organically, and boom - Oh, Hush! was born: hand dyed wares for a colorful, sustainable closet.
