I studied art, music and psychology at Carson Newman University with plans to be a music and art therapist for kids on the spectrum. I got married straight out of college and had a child that I needed to stay home with. I didn't paint again until I was 48 and bedridden for 6 weeks. Since then I travel extensively doing festivals, showing in galleries and various other exhibitions. Art has consumed my life and I'm having so much fun.a

I paint on canvas with water based oils. When I find a copyright free image that grabs my attention, I paint it. I prefer using gallery wrap canvases because I think they make a statement about the piece.
